A plaster moulding bedhead is a modern interpretation of a traditional wall decoration.

Step 1 Choose plaster mouldings - you'll need band/s for the frame and a decorative embellishment for the top. To create frame, cut band, on 45° angles, to your desired lengths (as a guide, the frame should suit the width of your bed). You can ask your plaster supplier to do this for you.

Step 2 Paint mouldings desired colour. We chose white to contrast with the dark wall colour.

Step 3 Wipe the back of all mouldings to remove any residue (this is important to ensure glue and Velcro adhere). Use Superglue to attach strips of Velcro to the back of each.

Step 4 Remove protective tape from other side of Velcro and stick mouldings to wall. Use bubble/spirit level to ensure they're straight. Apply firm pressure for 30 seconds.
