Weeks of hard work comes to fruition tonight for the contestants on the first series of The Block NZ when the four houses go up for sale.
The auction, being held at a central Auckland location, will be screened live on TV3 tonight as part of a two-hour series finale beginning at 7.30pm.

Sibblings Libby and Ben Crawford and couples Richard Boobyer and Sarah Adams, Tyson Hill and Rachel Rasch and Ginny Death and Rhys Wineera will all win the profits from the auction of the Takapuna houses they have renovated. But the pair that makes the most money tonight, will win an extra $80,000.
The series, which has been a hit in Australia for a few years, shows four couples renovating rundown houses, inside and out, completing a room a week.
They compete for cash and other prizes throughout the series to help them improve their homes.
